It is a 24 hour wholesale grocery store with two floors located in Galma-dong in Seo-gu. It has typical prices on everyday household items (shampoo, soap, silverware, but their food prices are pretty good. The prices for fruits and vegetables are great. They also have frozen pizzas, big bags of fries, big sizes of seasonings, snacks, and curries. No membership required.

Santa Crossing is a foreign-friendly music and pub restaurant in Gung-dong near Chungnam National Unversity. That restaurant provides various western and drinks. The pub itself resembles what a pub looks like in America. Not only can you eat and drink at the pub, you can also play foosball, darts, and pocket ball as well. The pub also host live band performances from time to time as well.

Dat LePole Pole is a 24 hour 3 story bakery and cafe located in Yongjeong-dong, Dong-gu, Daejeon. You can order your drinks and pastry on the first floor of the cafe. The first floor was displays a big projector that shows various visuals. You can sit on a bean bag and watch the visuals while enjoying your drink and pastry. The second and third floors are additional seating areas for you to enjoy your drink and pastry, socialize with friends, and working quietly on your laptop. I high recommend checking it out if you want to try out a new cafe or want a place to study at late at night.

Dat LeThe Plamu Art Academy is a small art workshop located in Doan-dong. The art workshop specialized in many different classes such as the gloopy texture coloring workshop (think of painting a canvas with clay), knife coloring workshop, and bear coloring workshop. The art classes are very unique and are quite different from other art classes. The instructors were very friendly and helpful when you create your own art project. The instructors can teach in English, although their English isn't the best. I highly recommend trying out their workshops if you have time!

Dr. Yang (양성우) can speak English quite well and is a friendly guy towards foreigners. The staff don't speak much English though.
