A beauty and scenic park and lake located in Deokjin-gu, Jeonju. The lake is quite large and there are many wood bridges connecting from one end of the lake to the other. A large railway bridge connects the mainland to a small island in the lake. A hanok building that is used for a library is located on the island, and visitors are freely allowed to walk in and around the hanok building. There is also a projector on the island that projects visual shows Friday nights.
The lake is quite popular during lotus blooming seasons as one side of the lake is completely covered with lotus flowers. It is also popular during the evening as the entire lake and surround areas are lit with lights.
This place is a beautiful tourist spot, but it also has hiking and a cute cafe nearing the top of the tower. They are foreigner-friendly and most of the staff on the tower speak English. It's even better to hike during the evening and see the top of the tower at night!
